Give projects a home
A central place to discover current and future work.
Project 01 / Platform
In developmentThe foundation for everything
built under Crashline.
01 / Idea & goals
Crashline brings independent projects across software, gaming and media together in one place. Core is the project behind the platform: the website, the shared identity and the structure connecting it all.
Every project should have its own space, with a description, development status, images and relevant links. Whether just planned, in development or already finished, its progress should be easy to follow.
A central place to discover current and future work.
Document progress, decisions and important milestones.
Add projects and branches while keeping a shared identity.
02 / Current state
Crashline is online, with the website and Payload CMS running on Railway in Amsterdam. News and projects are managed through the admin panel, including the text within this custom Core page. Branches remain a fixed directory, ready to link to their own websites.
03 / Behind the design
The full name is Crashline. In the logo, it becomes CRSHLNE: a compact wordmark with a precise cut and balanced letter spacing.
Individual pixels form the wordmark in the intro. A brief cut, reassembly and a subtle zoom lead into the calm page layout.
04 / Development
The first milestones, in the order they happened. This story will continue to grow with the platform.
Crashline begins with the idea of a personal home on the web: a platform that brings independent projects together and leaves room for different directions.
Crashline remains the name. A custom geometric wordmark gives the logo its own identity. Letterforms, spacing and the horizontal cut are refined step by step.
White, grey and translucent glass surfaces shape the landing page. Project tiles, navigation and the first sections give the platform its structure.
The intro evolves from an initial glitch into a pixel build-up: individual fragments form the letters before a cut, snap and zoom bring the logo into the header.
Crashline Core gets this dedicated project page. It records the goals, current state and next steps, setting the direction for future project pages.
About and Contact give Crashline a voice beyond its projects. Support & Partners adds a place for contributions through Ko-fi and PayPal, as well as future collaborations.
The website and Payload CMS move to Railway in Amsterdam, backed by PostgreSQL and persistent media storage. Projects, news, branches and partners can now be served from the CMS.
The first Crashline update is written and published through Payload. It appears on the home page with its own article page, completing the path from the admin panel to the website.
05 / Next steps
This roadmap sets the direction. Priorities and scope may change as development continues; there are no fixed release dates yet.
Keep project information and progress up to date in Payload, and add new projects when they are ready to share. Branch links will lead to their own websites as those become available.
Check the growing site on desktop and mobile, refine detail pages and prepare English and German language selection. Add project filters when there is enough work to explore.
Connect a custom domain, complete the imprint and privacy pages, and verify backups, media persistence and account recovery.
Add comments with moderation and spam protection, and develop dedicated spaces for branches as their projects take shape.
The website runs on Next.js with React and TypeScript. The intro combines WebGL, SVG and GSAP. Payload CMS manages published content, PostgreSQL stores the data, and Railway hosts the website and CMS in Amsterdam. Uploaded images use persistent storage.
